To celebrate the anniversary of our parish, a drawing and logo design competition is organised.

There are three categories:

1. Children under 12 years old: a drawing competition of a logo on the theme of “Me, my family and St. Mary’s church”
2. Young people aged 13-19 years old: a design competition of a logo on the theme of “St. Mary’s parish anniversary”
3. Adults: a design competition of a logo on the theme of “St. Mary’s parish anniversary”

Finished works can be submitted either in person at the office or by e-mail to maria(ät)katolinen.fi by 31.10.2024.

The Legion of Mary gathers every Monday after the evening Mass in the parish hall.

A language course for English speakers who wish to improve their Finnish for masses and prayers will continue on Tuesday 17.9 at 6.45 pm in the parish hall.

The Life in the Spirit seminar will begin on Friday 20.9. after evening mass in the parish hall. The seminar is an opportunity to strengthen own faith and learn about the Holy Spirit. The seminar consists of seven sessions including worship, teaching, testimonies, group discussions and prayer.

The First Communion and Confirmation classes in English will begin on the 21st of September at 10.30 in the parish hall.

There will be a youth meeting on Saturday 21.9. at 6 pm in the parish hall.

There will be a Catechesis in Finnish for preschool children on Sunday 22.9. at 10 am in the parish hall.
