There will be the commemoration of St. Augustine, bishop and doctor of the church, on Monday 28.8. The commemoration of the martyrdom of St. John the Baptist will be on Tuesday 29.8.

All evening Masses on weekdays will be celebrated in Finnish.

There will be an adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on the next Friday 1.9 in honour of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The adoration will start after the Mass and will last till 10 pm.

There will be a meeting for the youth on Saturday 2.9 at 6 pm in the parish hall.

If your child in the third grade or older has not yet received his/her First Communion, please register him/her for the First Communion preparation class in Finnish. The class starts on the 9^th of September at 10 am and is held once a month on Saturdays until the First Communion. Please register at the parish office (tel. 09-2411633 or maria(ät)katolinen.fi).

We ask the parents of all youngsters in the eighth grade to register their teenagers for the preparatory course for the Sacrament of Confirmation in Finnish. Also, any youth or young adult who is older than that age and has not yet received the Sacrament of Confirmation is welcome to register for the course beginning on the 9^th of September. Mass in Tagalog will be celebrated on the second and fourth Sunday of September at 1 pm.

There will be a March for life on 23^rd of September. It will begin at the Senate Square at 2 pm.
