We can help Ukrainians affected by the war through the Caritas Finland. Caritas organisations are helping thousands of internally displaced persons who are now desperately seeking shelter both in Western Ukraine and abroad. The two Caritas organisations are providing up-to-date information on the situation, food, drinking water and personal hygiene items, as well as a safe place to sleep, eat and wash. Caritas staff and volunteers also provide safe transport for displaced families. We can make a donation on the Caritas website www.caritas.fi/lahjoita or directly to the Caritas bank account. More information on the notice board.

Caritas Finland’s Lenten Collection supports the livelihoods and food security of nomadic women in the province of Turkana, Kenya. The region is one of the poorest in Kenya and the threat of famine is constantly present. We can donate via Caritas web page (caritas.fi), directly to Caritas bank account or to the donation box in the church.

There will be a meeting of the parish council on Wednesday, 9.3, after the evening Mass in the parish hall.

There will be Mass in Karjaa, in St. Catherine church on Saturday, 12.3 at 2 pm.

We will celebrate the Stations of the Cross in English on Sundays at 5.30 pm.
