The solemnity of St. Joseph will be celebrated on the next Friday, 19.3. There will be Mass in Finnish at 8 am and 6 pm. To perpetuate the dedication of the entire Church to the powerful patronage of St. Joseph, Pope Francis has established that, from the last December a special Year of Saint Joseph is celebrated, in which each faithful, following his example, can daily strengthen his life of faith in the full fulfillment of God’s will.

The Lenten Collection of Caritas Finland supports young leaders to defend environment and human rights in Myanmar. Young women and men are encouraged to act for sustainable living and human rights in their own communities. Strengthening the local civil society is important especially now, when human rights and freedoms are threatened by the recent military coup. You can donate via Caritas Finland website, directly to Caritas bank account or to the donation box in the church.
The Holy Mass and other events can be attended only by registering in advance through the parish website. If all places are booked, a parishioner can ask a priest to receive the Communion outside the Mass. The use of a face mask is mandatory. It is obligatory to maintain the social distancing also during the Communion. Please remove the face mask shortly before receiving the Communion and in case of a Communion on hand, put the Host to your mouth still standing at the front of a priest.
There will be an adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on the next Saturday 20.3 at 3.30 pm as the continuation of the “Encounter with Jesus” program.
There will be the Way of the Cross in English on Sunday at 5.30 pm.
