Our bishop Teemu Sippo SCJ will celebrate the Holy Mass on Tuesday 28.8 at 6 pm on the occasion of the 70^th anniversary of Secular Franciscan Order in Finland.

We will commemorate the martyrdom of Saint John the Baptist on Wednesday 29.9, Masses at 8 am and 6 pm.

First Communion classes in Finnish start on Saturday 1.9 at 10 am in the English School.

The Holy Mass will be celebrated in Espoo, in Olari chapel on Sunday 2.9 at 4 pm.

We will celebrate the commemoration of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Queen of Heaven, on Wednesday, 22nd of August. We will pray the novena to Our Mother of Perpetual Help in English after the evening Mass.

The blessing of the school children will take place on Sunday, 28th of August, during the Mass in Finnish at 11.30. Children can bring also school items for blessing.

We will celebrate morning Masses at 8 am on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. There will be morning Mass on Saturday at 9.30.

Recently ordained priest, fr. Tuomas Nyyssölä will celebrate the Holy Mass in our church on Sunday, 19th of August at 10 am.

We will celebrate the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary on Wednesday. Masses in Finnish at 8 am and 6 pm.

Announcements 

This year the Diocesan Day will be held on Saturday, August 11th. The celebrations will begin with a Holy Mass in Saint Lawrence Church in Lohja at 11 am. There will be a priestly ordination of Tuomas Nyyssölä during the Mass. The program will continue in education center Vivamo in Lohja. St Mary’s Parish organizes transportation by bus. The cost of a ticket is 20 Euros for adults. Children travel for free. For reservations contact our parish office or write your name on the list which is on the information board.

Those who would like to have lunch in Vivamo should buy a meal voucher from the parish office. The cost of lunch for an adult is 10 € and for children (3-12 years) 5 €.

Pope Francis will visit Tallinn on the 25^th of September and will celebrate the Holy Mass. St. Henry’s and St. Mary’s parishes arrange a day-trip to Tallinn to take part in the Papal Mass. The trip costs 40 Euros. You must register no later than July 15^th. More details on the information board.
